Sublimal messaging or a freudian slip? You decide.

Damn liberal media!

Yeah, but was it added afterwards? I know enough about Photoshop for print and video effects plug-ins for Adobe After Effects and Apple's Final Cut Pro to know this could have been added by a talented individual after the fact, possibly to make Fox look bad.

Who's to say? But having a subliminal message certainly isn't something that should be seen on a network that touts itself as "fair and balanced"!

Sure and work will set you free too.

Right you are ;) It clearly is edited. The narrator is cut right off, and the intro music ends abruptly. It is as fake as you can get. The poster even admitted to using his video editor.

A comment from someon on Digg ...

"I work in TV. THE VIDEO IS A FAKE AND I'LL TELL YOU WHY.

a) "Right Now on Fox 5 News" is actually "Right Now on Fox 5 News at Ten"...but it happens to stop RIGHT when they cut to the anchors.

b) That "Right Now" graphic shows the Legal ID (the call letters of the station on the bottom of the screen) which means it was shown at the top of the hour.

c) it IMMEDIATELY cuts...the audio died IMMEDIATELY...and magically the bug at the bottom (the logo) shows 10:14pm...right around the time they would be coming back from their first commercial break.

It's an edit. I know I'm an over-attention paying digg douche that'll get dugg down for taking ***** like this seriously, but I work in TV. This had ***** written all over it."

You really can't give the benefit of doubt to anything associated with Fox News anymore. They've been exposed time and time again as a biased and unbalanced news source for quite some time. And the mindless viewers who continue to watch and believe the shill they broadcast are the same 19-20% who still support Bush.

I love how liberal Putzs will buy Move on,, Daily Kos,,,, and Hufferpost as gospil but those dang mindless viewers that watch FOX! Yeah keep thinking you have the answers and everyone else has to be mindless, it's good for an ego that needs help.

All the other networks are worse. At least Fox interviewed Dr. Morgan Reynolds of Scholars For Truth. He pointed out that the jet crash into the south tower was computer generated and that according to BTS records, Flights AA 11 and AA 77 never took off. Fox also broadcast an explosive documentary about Israeli spying, and then was forced to make it vanish. It did not specifically blame Israel for the September 11 terrorism, but it raised suspicions. Click http://100777.com/usa/israeli_spyring

It's FAKE. Fools rush in so easily these days.

I don't buy into any of the above. But anyone with an ounce of sense knows that Fox is extremely biased! Only a fool can still ignore it.

They are more right leaning than most left leaning stations yes, but what sets them apart is they actually try and balance their show with actual views from both sides of the isle.

ALL of the nets and cable channels are right of center...only Fox News is past the right shoulder and in the ditch!

Who's John McCain? Is there another party besides Democrat? I watch NBC news all the time and I thought that Democrat was the only party.

When was the last time someone watched the man on the street interviewing young people on the street and asking them political questions?

These 'supposed' hip and with it politicos think that the presidential election is being done right now instead of primaries, and they think both people trying to be president are in the same party and have no idea there is a Republican waiting to do battle once the Democrats 'finally' come up with a candidate. As of right now, the Dems have two wannabs and the Republicans have a real candidate. Yeah the young vote, it's very important because they know not what they do and are easily manipulated, especially with the OLD argument.

Besides political viewpoints, is he any different from you slate? Or any of us?

avatar

Most likely not, heck I'd be fun to have a beer with as I'm sure most here would, as long as we don't talk about politics and such, I'm sure we'd get along.

I have just as much right to have my opinion as anyone here without someone calling me uneducated or a varied other things. I can take it but when that happens all it does is make me push back harder.

You're problem was, and still remains to be, is that you came on this thread talking about things that were totally unrelated. You've talked about Clinton, Bush bashing, and a host of other crap that has nothing to do with that. Then when people heckle you or become disturbed you proceed to become even more agitating. I fear it's more a cry out for attention than a conviction to voice your opinion. There are plenty of threads out there where Bush bashing or Hillary was the subject. Yet you used this forum to express your unrelated political opinion. You came here to stir things up. It's clear to me. To agitate. I laugh at you. I refuse to give you the type of attention you long for.

avatar

LOL Jo Jo now you act like you're a shrink trying to diagnose me, how utterly. I tell you what hot shot worry about your own cry for attention coming in here trying to tell me what my problem is.

what's the cute little thingy you say about floors and your butt again?

Just watched the Fox5 news and Tevo'd it. Its not there. Period. This is nothing mre than a clever FAKE, but I am glad to see the far left extremists here still believe everything the far left feeds them.

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to know how easily duped you clowns are.

The key to doing these type of messages is to not put it in the same place and time every day. If it's done at random no one will know where to look.

I work at an ABC TV station. I can say that the youtube clip was edited - but not by adding the McCain picture. That was in the original airing, what was edited was the cut immediately after the McCain picture to the anchor 2-shot. There was some time removed there. You'll notice the audio cut out and the picture cut abruptly.

The reason for the McCain picture is this. The "Right Now" computer generated animation (CG) has "holes" in it while it is running. This means that you will see whatever is under the CG - it could be black, a solid color, a picture, or a video clip. So in the youtube clip, the "Right Now" story is going to be about McCain. What Fox 5 did is start the CG animation and the video clip at the same time, with the CG animation keyed over the video clip. As soon as the animation finishes, it goes away and just leaves the video continuing to run behind it.

If the story was about Obama or Clinton their picture would have shown up there too.

God, your right Jovial. It is subliminal. I am glad the video finally pointed out to me what was happening. There for a second at first, I had good fuzzy feelings about John and even Cindy. WOW. I thought for a moment I would even vote for McCain. Good catch. Thanks for the heads up. Damn sneaky NeoCons. That Fox is downright foxy. LOL

If that lying NeoConArtist DizzyDavy says it's fake, that means it HAS to be real!!!

Yes! You can be rest assured that the total opposite is a 'Hobson's choice' to whatever "DinkyDave" says that it isn't!

avatar
Reply

This is subliminal for sure. One cannot make this type of mistake without meaning to. Its a news stations intro logo, one would literally have to input that McCain image into it knowing full well what they were doing.. No way someone accidentally spliced that McCain shot into it..

anyone with any video editing experience will tell you the same thing.

avatar
Reply

It is intentional - no one that works on computer graphics and specifically puts something like that together (a 'one of a kind' logo) would make that kind of 'mistake'.

Pretty cheesy of them ....
