Loose Change Creators on The View May 24th »
Posted by: entropy 1 year, 3 months agoAccording to a release from ABC, Korey Rowe and Dylan Avery, creators of the 9/11 conspiracy documentary Loose Change will appear on the May 24th show. Also listed is William Rodriguez, who was a janitor at the North Tower of the World Trade Center, who has since become part of the 9/11 truth movement.

On September 11th, there were fighters in the air less than five minutes away from the Twin Towers when the first was hit, 25 minutes after Flight 11 was believed to be hijacked. There were a number of air stations with combat-ready fighters within ten minutes' flying time from the New York City and Washington targets. There were well-established automatic procedures for intercepting aircraft that were either off course or had lost communication. Yet there were no interceptions of any of the four hijacked aircraft, with the possible exception of Flight 93, whose interception and shoot-down is officially denied. What conclusions can be drawn from this failure, given the awesome capabilities of the air defense network?

For a long time I dismissed the 911 conspiracy as just another looney conspiracy theory. But as the depth of corruption and outright criminal activity of the Bush administration, primarily headed by Cheney, has emerged, I would like to see this investigated.
Bush is SO determined to see himself as a War president of the likes of FDR and Harry Truman. In his own words, "I'm a War President. I'm the Decider. I'm the Commander Guy." A guy like Cheney could easily use an egomaniac like Bush.
And the PNAC paper that preceded to 2000 election and predicted (lobbied for) the attack on Iraq said that it should be done for global dominance of oil reserves, but that it would take a Pearl Harbor style attack to make it possible to sell to the American People.
Is that paper the handwriting on the wall? Let's find out, Rosie or no Rosie. We owe that to the brave Americans who gave their limbs, parts of their brains, and all too many their lives for this misguided debacle.

As a non-American, I've watched Loose Change and Screw Loose Change to try and get both sides of the story. No doubt about it, it's a tragedy that has shaped the new millenium for years to come. The thing is, the retorts that supposedly de-bunk Loose Change are so flimsy and ambiguous, they still don't provide a definitive answer. For goodness sake, there must be a mountain of information- let it out and put people's minds to rest.
On another thread the other day somebody went into attack mode and posted a link to the Popular Mechanics editor meeting the researcher to Loose Change. The best that video came up with was a Coroner changing his mind five years after the event.
Sorry mate, but you're going to have to come up with something better than that.

Loose Change is very flimsy and filled with very weak science.
The person that changed his mind was a researcher for the Underwriter's Lab who made a statement that Loose Change picked up but then failed to mention that the guy changed his mind upon doing the research.

ZenAgain, there is much more research than produced by the Loose Change group, and getting both sides of the story here results in name calling from the other side. Lackies such as Hannity and O'Rielly having nothing but contempt for the global facts associated with the attack. I am still trying to reason why our own air force failed to engage the high jacked jet liners before they hit the towers.

While both Hannity and ORielly are little more then chumps, what you are advocating from a position of incredulity (a logical fallacy I might add) is that our air defenses should've responded by shooting down civilian airliners without knowing precisely what they were doing.
Bare in mind that fighters were dispatched and that they were dispatched into the busiest air corridor in our nation.

Another important thing to remember is that rules on intercepts prohibit supersonic flight. Also bear in mind that in the entire decade prior to 9/11 there was only one instant where a civilian plane was intercepted over North America.

Although Rosie clearly is a liberal, the Truther movement is not just made up of liberals. They probably are the largest segment of the movement. But a lot of libertarians and even conserbatives have bought into this nonsense - fear of big government, civil liberties concerns and foreign entanglements are the reasons why.
It's a lot easier for some people to deal with the devil they know (US government) than the devil they don't (Muslim radicals)

Actually, William Rodriguez was a hero on 9/11 and has been honored at the White House multiple times. I believe he is misguided in his involvement with the so-called 9/11 Truth Movement, but he is nonetheless a good person that is fighting for what he believes. You should research his story before you throw out negative stereotype jokes.

Don't downplay Rodriquez's involvement on that day. He went back into the tower and saved multiple people, and he performed way beyond the call of duty.
Unfortunately I think he has allowed some of that to go to his head, he originally reported hearing a rumble, but it has lately become inflated to him hearing an explosion.

Steel is made by a process IN FURNACES where it is molten.
So yes, it is at birth melted. But the temperature at which is created is incredibly high and much higher than burning jet fuel could ever reach--(especially as that burning jet fuel evaporated in a matter of seconds or at most minutes.)
Now think about it, IF the temperature in and around the hole at the WTC was high enough to melt steel, it would have EVAPORATED people. BUT THERE WERE PEOPLE STANDING IN THE GAPING HOLES OF THAT BUILDING waving and begging for help! That's not fanciful theorising, that's a physical fact.
A person who MAKES steel discusses this on the following video.. so all of those commenters here who make snide remarks about steel melting, (let's just keep it our secret) should get more facts and think again.

I don't know that there is evidence of any melted steel prior to the collapse. The metallurgical experts have said that the molten "metal" that came out of the one tower was aluminum from the plane mixed with other debris. Plus, the girders themselves did not have to "melt" in order for the building to fall. Rather, their structural integrity only had to decrease enough in order to buckle (not melt) and compromise the load-bearing capacity.

It is a well known fact among F-14 Tomcat technitions that the afterburner can melt a Jet Blast Deflector within a minute.
An afterburner doesnt use that much fuel so lets put it into perspective. The jet just took off from an airport and had a belly FULL of fuel. Now lets ignite all that fuel at once! im sure many people were killed instantly. Not to mention the heat generated and the explosion itself probabally weakened the steel greatly. Sure you might not be able to get through a thick beam that easily but its not too hard if it is shredded in an explosion.

That would assume of course that steel melted, which it did not.
The heat of the fire was enough to weaken the structural integrity of the steel and caused the collapse. There is ample photo evidence of this.

Dear President luver... yes indeed it may have and most certainly DID cause the instant evaporation of victims at the crash site. BUT THE STORY of the collapse is that the buildings came down because ALL the steel columns of the building melted -- ALL, not just around the impact site.
Are you SO loyal to your political convictions that it has disenabled your ability to THINK!

I just love how all you troofers think that there were not other products in that building that would burn. I have given all kinds of examples of things that would be kept on the floors of high rise buildings. Show you that your average office holds more items than a typical home that is a hazard for fire.
To those of you trying to prove to these people that there are other items along with an impact from a jet liner that was a 757, that caused mass destruction. Wow, you know that concept is lost on these people.
You will always have your people say it was the Gov't that did this. Even though you do not see the massive detonation on each floor from explosives. You see impact dust from beams giving out and floor colapsing on each other. You know the detonations they say are happening but if you watch a real demo you would see large puffs of white smoke. Not dust grey and black. Wow, another line I have heard being given to the troofers. Yet they fail to see the fact.

The "White Powder Residue" that was quoted in the clip you provided the link to could have been the aspartame or the sodium benzonate from the coke...
