Fox cancels 'Drive'

Television – TV Guide is reporting that Fox has canceled Drive, the new action series starring Nathan Fillion and created by Tim Minear. Even though it's not confirmed, it's pretty obvious that this is due to dismal ratings.

Fillion and Minear seem to have one heck of a dark cloud over their heads.

Yep, The Hollywood Reporter is saying the same thing - I am in now way shocked, either

pretty amazing how fast they dropped it, considering how hard they promoted it, using american idol ad time and spending huge amounts of money.

Why would anyone sign a deal with Fox? They keep cancelling the best shows.

Cool... Now I'm damned glad I never watched it. I figured it would go the way of ABCs Next Day and those other shows that suck you in so the network can yank the carpet from beneath you and let you wonder the rest of your life how the damn show ended.

The only safe thing to watch on networks today are 30 minute sitcoms, they don't have cliffhangers and are so bad you don't give damn when they do get cancelled.
