Adam, excellent analysis. I couldn't agree with you more. I think the messages that this episode portrays are very clear. As Stan finally realizes in the end of the episode, you cannot fully understand what it is like to be someone unless you are that person. For this reason he could not understand why the N-word was so significant to Token. And, as the guest speaker realizes, words can do quite a lot of damage. I don't think anyone could have summarized the overall message of the show better than you did in your last two sentences. Words are all we have to communicate to each other. You can't solve anything by taking them away, because you can't take them away. The only thing that you can do is learn to understand them and their significances. So, overall, great analysis!
